Eleven years, riding shotgun the whole way

Born 12 August 2014. Came home 12 October 2014. She was almost two when we drove east together in June 2016 — the passenger-seat photo above is from that trip. The six years in Newfoundland that followed, and every park in the log, were with her along.

We drove back to Toronto together in May 2022. She passed on 26 August 2025. Every trip on the field log up through the summer of 2025 was with her. The rest will not be — but the pattern she set stays.
